Over the past year, the college experience has looked a little different. From coast to coast, students, educators and universities transitioned to online learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The true “college experience” – meeting new people, attending on-campus lectures, classes and labs, building friendships and experiencing the personal growth that comes from pushing your comfort zone and pursuing your passions – was put on pause for many students across the country.  

As we begin to return to in-person, on-campus learning, American Campus Communities is dedicated to creating living spaces where students can thrive. From move-in to graduation, it’s our goal to provide the resources, amenities, social spaces, location and true home away from home to help you SHINE.

• In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, ACC kicked off our Be safe. Be smart. Do your part. program that is still going strong. We partnered with Lysol to overhaul community cleanliness and sanitization protocols and add disinfection stations and touchless features in shared spaces to encourage hygienic practices and safe socialization.

• Our dedicated team is passionate about student success.  

• Our ACC managers have an open-door policy and keep the day-to-day operations of our communities running smoothly. For any questions, issues or concerns, we’re at your service.  

• We also have teams of Community Assistants at each American Campus community – these full-time student employees will be a great contact for things like fun resident events, apartment issues, peer support, and campus resources. 

• Remember to follow your community on social media to stay up to date with community events, specials, giveaways, meeting your team members, and local information and alerts.
